      Compare sets of objects up to at least 20 in each set using comparative language.

      Use comparative language to describe two numbers up to 20 presented as written numerals.

The Comparing Numbers Unit involves understanding the relative position and magnitude of whole numbers, and their relationships within the numeration system. Students will answer questions such as:

  • Which group has more? Less?
  • Do any groups have the same number? How do you know?
